Every log matters, every journey costs precious warmth, and every moment spent away from a fire brings you closer to freezing.

Repair the tower. Light the beacon. Get home.

A Voyage Gone Wrong

It was supposed to be a simple journey to market.

With your goods packed and a few coins to be made, you boarded a merchant vessel sailing along one of the region’s busiest trading routes. The weather was fair, the seas were calm, and there was little reason to expect anything other than an uneventful voyage.

But the sea had other plans.

A violent storm swept across the trading channel, battering your ship until it could take no more. When the storm finally passed, your vessel was gone, your cargo was lost, and you found yourself washed ashore on a lonely island.

Worse still, it’s freezing cold.

With nothing but the clothes on your back, an axe and a pickaxe, you must find a way to survive. The days are bitter, the nights are colder, and the rain threatens to rob you of what little warmth remains.

But all is not lost.

This island lies beside a busy trading route, and among its trees and rocks stand the remains of an old signal tower. If you can gather enough materials to repair the structure and light a blazing signal fire at its summit, surely a passing vessel will notice your plight.

The question is: can you finish the tower before the cold claims you?

Gameplay Features

Survive the Elements

The island is no tropical paradise! Your warmth gradually decreases as you explore, with nighttime and rainfall making conditions increasingly dangerous. Let your warmth reach zero for too long, and your health will begin to suffer.

Gather Resources

Use your trusty axe to chop trees for logs and your pickaxe to break apart boulders for stone. Resources replenish around the island, but you’ll need to venture out and gather enough to complete your objective.

Build and Maintain Campfires

Construct campfires to keep the bitter cold at bay. Standing near a burning fire restores your warmth, but fires need logs to keep burning. Plan their locations carefully to minimise dangerous journeys through the cold.

Repair the Signal Tower

Your ultimate objective is to rebuild the island’s ruined signal tower. Gather wood and stone, construct its missing sections, and complete the structure piece by piece.

Experience Changing Weather

The island features a day-and-night cycle and unpredictable rainfall. The combination of darkness and rain can make survival especially challenging, forcing you to adapt your plans as conditions change.

Signal for Rescue

Once the tower is complete, light the signal fire at its summit and hope that a passing merchant ship spots the flames.
